Weekends are a prime time to sabotage all your hard work you have done in the week! Weekends to many are seen as a time to chill out, relax and enjoy food and alcohol. However, you can still enjoy good food and drink but remember all in moderation!.... whats the point in working so hard all week to ruin it and cancel it all out at the weekend? It's just a yo-yo diet in my eyes.
I found a great detox smoothie to finish your week off with if you have indulged a little too much this weekend, especially now it's nearly Christmas.
Citrus and green tea Detox Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
Juice from 1 lemon
2 cups of apple juice
1tsp Japanese green tea powder (great for burning fat)
6-7 grapes
Instructions
Whip up, put into a bottle and sip whenever you are feeling a big sluggish or need a boost – this one is a good one to cleanse your insides and a good energy boost.

Cherry – Vanilla breakfast smoothie:
Ingredients
1 cup nonfat milk
2 cup unsweetened frozen cherries
2 cup frozen raspberries
2 cup frozen lowfat vanilla yogurt
1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups ice
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Serve immediately.
