What to do with your leftover food from Christmas?

Hello everyone,

I don't know about you but we have plenty of left over food still from the christmas holidays, so if you are the same then keep reading :)

I thought I would help you all out by giving you some great recipe ideas for all those leftovers you may have in your fridge. We still have Turkey, Cheese, Beef and some Gammon left, along with a selection of nuts and chocolate.

First up for those of you left with turkey or beef this spicey dish from celebrity chef Anjum Anand turns a classic British roast into an exotic Indian curry. http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/537476

If you aren’t already sick of turkey yet then add your leftover turkey to an Italian rice and peas dish: http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/risi_e_bisi_italian_rice_and_peas/

Plenty of cheese left over? Melt on top of toast, chicken and avocado open sandwich. Or chop up for a snack with cherry tomatoes and crackers. Add blue cheese to a walnut pesto risotto: http://www.food.com/recipe/pesto-walnut-risotto-133338 OR try it with penne pasta: http://www.food.com/recipe/penne-with-blue-cheese-pesto-walnuts-and-asparagus-125997

Still got quite a bit in your fridge and not sure what to do with it? Check out this great website I came across which gives you recipes on what you have in your fridge. Just simply click/type the items you have left and voila you have a selection of recipes to choose from: http://www.myfridgefood.com/index.php
I currently love it... It is also great for you students out there on a very tight budget!!

Have fun making new recipes with leftover food.

Let me know how you get on and feel free to share your recipes :)
